Lightning flashes, illuminating the darkened street outside, and the torrential downpour. A few unfortunate souls scurry about on the streets, going about business that either cannot wait, or looking to satiate a craving that won't abate.
Inside the dimly lit bar, Kale sits there at a well-worn table sitting in the middle of the bar. He slowly drinks a dark colored beer out of a large glass mug, watching the door as if he's waiting for someone to arrive.
One of the emaciated middle-aged waitresses saunters by and leans down to ask him if he wants anything else, while playfully flirting with him. He smiles in return, revealing half his teeth have been replaced by metal, and orders a sandwich.

Heading towards the Black Nova Jane mutters as she tries to keep herself dry. Once reaching the bar she looks around and does not spot any of her friends / associates. Frowning she locates a small unoccupied table and takes a seat facing the door. While waiting for the waitress she brings out an older model data pad that seems to occupy her attention.

Lockgar enters the bar, soaked by rain and looking as if he doesn't care... He marches through the room and up to the bar. He acts like he owns the place and doesn't really care who actually does. He orders a beer, turns to the local drunk and starts to talk about his time in the military. LOUD and boastful, that is how he likes it... all the attention on him!!!

Jane was browsing through the news articles when the tall, scarred, loud man marched into the bar. She found it hard to concentrate on the article as the man started to loudly boast of his military service. While he was talking to the local drunk the waitress arrived with her food. Jane began to tuck in. She propped up the data pad as she ate and tried to concentrate on the words in front of her.
